Hutech offers Olympus digital SLR cameras which have been spectrum enhanced to make full use of the bandwidth of the imaging sensor through the removal of the standard Olympus IR blocker.

The Olympus EM-5 features a built-in Electronic View Finder (EVF). The EVF allows the photographer to see the scene even when light levels are too low for the human eye, or when shooting through UV or IR filters which block the visible spectrum.

The comparison above shows the advantage of using an EVF-equipped camera when using an IR-pass (visual blocking) filter. In a standard camera, the rear LCD screen can be utilized, but in bright ambient light, composing a shot with an EVF system is easier and less awkward for the photographer
