The front focuser option is recommended for
applications in which the most rigid possible
coupling is required between a camera and a
Borg 76 Ach/ED scope, especially in cases where
the accessories behind the focuser may be heavy.
The resulting configuration
also has the benefit of better balance about
the middle of the scope/camera combination.
This configuration is particularly recommended
for use in autoguider applications.
The front focuser configuration requires the
7130
set plus the
7507
adapter, both shown above.
The positions for the adapters are indicated
above. The final configuration should appear
as shown in the photograph below. The draw
tube extension is at the rear as in the normal
scope configuration, but the focuser has moved
to the front section.
Note: The front focuser arrangement is not recommended
for the Borg 100 Ach/ED configuration.
