A Borg Solar Scope by Daniel Provencal (Provencal.D@ems-t.ca) A Borg 100ED, mounted on a modified NexStar 5 mount is shown here. A longer replacement fork was machined out of magnesium to allow for complete goto use of the Borg 100ED. The telescope is optimized for solar observing, but is also usable at night. The light weight Borg OTA made this configuration possible.
