for Takahashi and Vixen Users

For Takahashi and Vixen scope users who would like to
take advantage of the broad range of Borg accessories,
special adapters are available:
- Borg 7901 - M60 to M57/60 Adapter for Vixen ED/FL
- Borg 7910 - M47 to M57/60 Adapter for Tak FC50/60
- Borg 7911 - M56 to M57/60 Adapter for Tak FC76/FS78
- Borg 7912 - M72 to M57/60 Adapter for Tak FC100, 100N, 125N, FS102 and FS128
This allows the use of Borg accessories such as:
- 1.4X Teleconverter lens(7014) which features a large
image circle - 88mm at 400mm f.l., 70mm at
1000mm f.l.
- 0.85X Reducer lens(7785) which maintains flat
images over an image circle 45mm across
- 1.04X flattener lens(7784) with an image circle
48mm across
- Adapters for attachment to the Pentax 67 camera
body (Note: Some vignetting will occur)
- Super image shift (7200) adapter
- Projection eyepiece adapter(7400)
An increasingly popular option among Takahashi scope
users in Japan is to upgrade to medium format
photography using Borg parts:

Model FC76:
Remove original tube and attach Borg parts for
the following configuration:
- FC76 Objective
- Borg Tube (8149)
- Borg Super Reducer S (8044)
- Borg Helical Focuser (8167)
Note that a simple modification is necessary
to attach the objective to the Borg tube. The
original hood may cause some vignetting in this
configuration.

Model FC100/FS102 F8:
Remove original rack & pinion focuser and
attach Borg parts for the following
configuration:
- Takahashi objective
- Takahashi tube
- Borg 8120
- Borg 8750 (or 8119)
- Borg 8670
- Borg 8167
Note that baffles in the original tube may
cause slight vignetting in medium format shots.

FC100/FS102 F8 (conversion to F5):
Remove original tube and attach Borg parts for
the following configuration:
- Takahashi objective
- Borg 8121
- Borg 8750 (or 8119)
- Borg 8044 (Super Reducer S)
- Borg 8167

FS128:
This upgrade requires removal of the original
rack and pinion focuser and addition of a custom
adapter (which can be provided by Hutech if
required):
- Takahashi objective
- Takahashi tube
- Custom adapter
- Borg 8750 (or 8119)
- Borg 8670
- Borg 8167
